yeah, well, let's put this on because it sounds different now to the way it used to sound before,
you see. So, yeah, I did write that.

BiTS: Where does the title come from? It sounds like the name of a hotel or something.

RB: It is, you're quite right. The first time I went to the States, we stayed in a hotel called the Royal
Sonesta Hotel. So first of all, I called it Sonesta Stomp, but now I've called it ‘Royal Sonesta Stomp’.
Funnily enough, I went over to Miami in April and guess where we stayed? There's a chain of
Sonesta hotels and we stayed in the Sonesta Hotel in Miami as well, there you go.

    BiTS: Oh right.

                                                          RB: Happy days, yeah.

BiTS: Tell me now about another one of my
                                                          favourites ‘In Too Deep’.

RB: Oh, yes, I wrote that. That was a gradual
process. I had a little riff there [singing]. I had a little
riff first of all, and then I started writing a song
around it quite a while ago. Funnily enough, also I
did that when I was away on holiday because I had
a working holiday in America again, and I wrote
that song. I wrote a couple of the songs while I was
on that little holiday because I had time on my
hands. I just sort of was in a zone of being a bit
creative, you know, I was in the zone then. So ‘In
Too Deep’, yeah, it just gradually evolved and it's
now what it is. We originally did record that on the
“No More A Secret” album. A lot of people quite like
that song, so yeah, thank you again.

BiTS: Do you have a favourite on the album
                                                          yourself?

RB: No, not really. No, I just think I like it all. No, I
never have any faves. I just put them out there and
they're out there [laughing]. Sometimes I do have
ones that I think I don't like so much [chuckles].
    That's because I'm a bit self-critical. I'm a little bit self-critical of myself. I think, could have done
that better, or something like that.

BiTS: Now, Robin, you've been gigging the album already and you've had an album launch. How
    did all of that go?

RB: That was last night, Ian and it went really well. It was lovely. It was lovely. We had a packed
audience. Actually the gig was at the Tuesday Night Music Club where part of which was recorded
there as well. So yeah, it was lovely. It was a lovely night. It was very happy, and everybody was
in very, very good humour indeed. It was lovely and the band sounded great. Everybody played
well and the vibes were good and so I'm happy, you know, I came home on a high. There we are,
    and I'm still there.

BiTS: And you've been in Ireland as well?

RB: We played with the trio at the Belfast City Blues Festival.
