vocals, we thought, oh, this would be perfect. It's Paul who suggested it, why
don’t you get Lily in again? She's a lovely girl, though.
BiTS: Absolutely fab. What a terrific story. I love that. Absolutely terrific.
TBS: It's all true stuff. All the songs on the album I’ve written, as we all do,
from the experiences of my life, really. And they've all got a little story behind
them [chuckles].
BiTS: You've had a
wonderful job done for you
on the mastering and the
actual recording of it, and
all the rest of it. It’s got a
terrific sound, absolutely
terrific. On my stereo
system it’s a really wide
sound as well, which is
terrific.
TBS: Well, the truth is, I'm
at Paul Jones's house
because Paul Jones did all
the mixing and the field
recording, the second part
of the field recording and
from Mu-Mu Audio. Then
Matt Devenish, is part of Mu-Mu Audios’ mate, he did all the mastering and
they're top of their game. They do the Upton Festival for us, the live sound
as me and Emma, my wife, we run the acoustic stage at the Upton Festival,
and Paul and Matt come and put in a system for us, which is absolutely top
notch. They've done all my albums. I'm at his house now because I got back
from up north yesterday. I had a couple of gigs in Durham, and the album
people have sent the test pressing , so I rushed over to Malvern where Paul
is, and we've just sat and listened to the actual vinyl for the first time. I've
never had vinyl before. We sat and listened to it on his big speakers, and we
