LL: How has the pandemic been for you?

RB: The pandemic has had its ups and downs for me. Personally, it wasn’t that bad because I stayed connect-
ed within my little bubble made up of my kids, people who are close to me, and the band. I mostly stayed
home. I went to the studio...that was about it.

As far as gigging, well...we all know that was a bust. Festivals canceled, clubs shut down, etc. But Tomas,
James, the band and I were doing all this recording during the pandemic, so our creative processes continued
on in a very big way. It was business as usual with a few adjustments when needed. Our creative juices flowed
really well. And the result is “Truth Hurts,” an album of which I am very proud and thankful to have been able
     to release.

LL: What can your fans look forward to coming up for you?

RB: My fans can look forward to hearing some live shows. We’ll be headlining a great festival in upstate NY,
Harborfest, on July 29 and 30th this summer. People can check for upcoming shows. I’ll be writing and record-
ing, composing more music, commenting on the state of the world and life in general. It’s part of who I am. It’s
been that way my whole life. I won’t stop now.
