BiTS: It’s brought me out in goose-pimples and the hair on the back of my neck is standing on end [laughing].
MM: That single’s out on Wednesday, April the 20th.
BiTS: Yes, it is indeed.
MM: You should be getting a copy.
BiTS: I have one already on my database.
MM: Oh, do you? Brilliant. Excellent.
BiTS: It will get some airplay very shortly, I promise you.
MM: Thank you. I really appreciate that.
BiTS: What Ollie, are your plans for the future? Do you have any plans to go back into the studio again?
MM: Yes. We’re working on a couple of things.
Right now, we’ve got ‘Devils Chain’. And I’ve
got something I can’t really talk about, but it’s
going to be fantastic. I’m really excited.
Another partnership in probably a couple of
months' time which we’ve recorded, and we’ve
mixed and we’re going to have a new record
coming out, which is going to be around
October time and we’re pretty much not far off
actually. There’s going to be about 10 songs
and we’re at the stage of just kind of finessing.
I’m back in the studio on Friday to do my
vocals and then we’ll go and do the guitar a bit
later. But the work ethic is high around here
[laughing].
BiTS: You sound like a pretty busy man now.
MM: Yes, well, I’ve had to abandon all vice. There’s no time for it, so if it’s not work, it’s music [laughs]. Also,
I’ve had a lot of time being sat around indoors on my own for the last couple of years.
BiTS: Ollie, thanks very much for talking to me. It’s been wonderful. I’m delighted that things are, let’s say,
improving for you, to say the least.
MM: On the up and thanks for asking me to talk to you and playing the record. I hope that enough people say
thank you for that kind of thing because it really means a lot to have support from people to help out a
musician.
BiTS: It’s my pleasure, believe me. You stay safe and make sure you don’t come in contact with the COVID.
MM: Will do. Hope to see you in person sometime.
BiTS: Ollie, thank you very much indeed. I won’t take any more of your time. Wonderful speaking to you.
MM: Thanks, Ian. All the best to you. Take care.
BiTS: Bye.
