got to go and record an in-situ live set and actually show some of my live sound
alongside the studio sound.
BiTS: Well, you're only a young man at the moment, where do you expect to be,
where would you like to be, shall we say, in five years’ time?
AD: Oh, wow. Okay, so obviously the ideal answer is headlining Wembley. That would
be beautiful [laughs]. The pragmatic answer, and actually the one which I'm most
happy with is, is that my goal is to make enough money from playing my music that
I make a living out of it. Where I would like to see myself in five years’ time, is at the
point where we can play say, it's what eight shows a month, something like that,
which would provide enough money to continue to fund the music and also fund me
actually living. That is my dream in life.
BiTS: Do you have management at the moment, or you do it for yourself?
AD: Well, currently I'm doing it myself and bless them, my parents are essentially
my managers at this precise moment in time. Not that if there's any managers reading
or listening to this, they are welcome to get in touch, but I am currently looking into
doing it, simply to get to that next stage of my career, basically.
BiTS: You haven't really had a chance to do much long-distance touring yet. Where
would you like to go to?
AD: I mean, I'll be honest, I'm one of those musicians who says literally everywhere.
My whole passion in life is just playing live, and so for me, it's less about where I am
and more about the ability to actually just play. That said, if I could go to New Zealand,
I can tick some things off my bucket list while I’m there. So you know, I'm not going
to complain if someone offers me, put it that way.
BiTS: András, that's a nice point to stop. Thank you very much indeed for talking
to me. It's been most interesting, and I really wish you the very best of luck in your
career and the unusual ability that you have to convey your music to people because
it's absolutely fabulous. I love it. The songs were fun, the vocals were fun, and you
can hear the words.
AD: Ian, you're a star. Thank you so much. It's been lovely talking to you.
