Sample Phased Agreement

Re: Proposed Office and Manufacturing Plant

Further to our meeting of today’s date, and as agreed, please note the Design-Build agreement for
the referenced project as follows.

Phase 1
Provide the preliminary construction working drawings, outline specifications, scope of work and
construction budget all based on the available site and soils information and building function requirements
you have provided to us.
Total Cost $
Phase 2
Complete the final construction workings drawings, specifications and construction contract
documentation. Define the scope of work and complete the construction of the building project in
accordance with our final proposal submission and signed contract agreement.

Total Cost (to be determined)

Upon your acceptance of the Phase 1 results we will then proceed to finalize the details, terms
and total cost for Phase 2. Should the project not proceed for any reason we will be reimbursed for any
completed Phase 1 costs.
Our in-house or retained designers and consultants will complete all preliminary or final working
drawings and specifications.
Would you please sign in the space provided below returning one copy of this agreement for our
files.

……………………to proceed with the work as outlined in Phase 1 noted above.
