About the Author
Ronald J. Conway has worked in the Design/|Construction
industry in Canada the USA and abroad for over 40 years. With
thirteen years in construction product manufacturing and thirty-five
years dedicated to the Design-Build construction field. Initially
apprenticing in construction design and structural detailing, followed by
many years of construction estimating, leading to the design, marketing and
selling of Design-Build construction services. The last twenty-eight years
has been spent operating a Design-Build construction firm, with overall
responsibility for securing and completing the companies diversified
Design-Build contracts.
The many years of extensive training, education and
hands-on work experience at all levels in the construction industry,
has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to produce the
information contained in this book. Since 1993, Mr. Conway has been
presenting Seminars and Workshops on Design-Build throughout Canada
and in the USA.
