School finance is a complex and ever-changing environment. State funding formulas continue to grow more compli-
cated each year with the incorporation of more and more data elements and assumptions. And this data driven era
leads to increased reporting, compliance, and associated deadlines. Through the School Finance Services, Region III
works to assist districts with financial and compliance tasks to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely operations within
the district business office. The accuracy and analysis of financial data is of vital importance to the success of school
districts.

This service provides in-depth guidance, assistance, and one-on-one training in school finance. In addition to basic
