thick coat of white fur that blends with the color of the snow. Even their paws have
fur. Their white coat keeps their body heat from escaping. Seals can live in very
cold places, too. Some terrestrial animals have sharp teeth with pointed canines
and sharp claws to catch their prey. These special adaptive features are common
to most of the terrestrial animals.

Land or terrestrial animals have lungs for breathing. These animals are
impossible to live in other habitat because their body structures are adapted only to
land.
