Teacher’s Report

The November and December months were full of fun-filled moments for the
children right from pre-primary to higher secondary section. The children shook,

rattled, rolled and twirled and showed their dancing skills. The ISA project on
Dance gave the children a platform to express themselves creatively and perform
on stage on the school’s Annual Day function. The children rehearsed well under
the able guidance of the choreographers who were specially appointed by the
school. The choreographers honed the dancing skills of the participant students.
Their choreographic skills and children’s hard work paid off. The children wooed
the audience with their wonderful dance performances staged by them on Annual

Day.

The students of Grade VII made a Dance Album to show dance forms of their
own country as well as western countries. The ISA album making activity was
truly productive as it gave an outlet to children’s creativity. While making the
dance album the children gathered information on various dance forms of
different countries and developed respect for their cultures.

The students prepared PPT on dance forms of different countries. The same was
presented by their teacher. The teacher not only enlightened the students through
PPT but also made it made enjoyable through the technique of games. Thanks to
ISA, the children learnt to appreciate the traditions and cultures across the globe.
