MUM comes in, still sleepy. Yawns.

What a beautiful day...
She fills the kettle.
MUM (CONT'D)
Don’t you want to go out
and enjoy
the fresh air?
WOLFGANG doesn’t react.
MUM (CONT'D)

It such a beautiful day. GORGEOUS
stuck in
such a shame to waste it
your room.
WOLFGANG
I’ve got loads of homework.
MUM drops a tea bag in a cup.
MUM
(no big deal)
Oh, I asked a friend over for
supper later. (beat) He works at
the hospital. You don’t mind do
you?
WOLFGANG turns the page.

(deadpan)
