Downstairs we hear the DOOR BELL ring.
He opens his bedroom door just far enough to see downstairs.
INT. WOLFGANG’S HOUSE. HALLWAY - NIGHT
DAVE pecks MUM’s cheek and hands her a bottle of wine.
MUM says something and DAVE looks up to Wolfgang’s room.
INT. WOLFGANG’S HOUSE. WOLFGANG’S BEDROOM - NIGHT
WOLFGANG slides away from the door hoping he wasn’t seen.
INT. WOLFGANG’S HOUSE. KITCHEN - NIGHT
MUM, DAVE and WOLFGANG sit around the table.
MUM has tried to create a bit of atmosphere with some
candles.
She’s wearing make up and a dress that’s a size too small.
DAVE has taken the trouble to wear his best shirt.
They eat Spaghetti. GORGEOUS
We focus on WOLFGANG throughout.
He struggles to twirl the spaghetti onto his fork.
DAVE
This is so good.
MUM
I can’t take any credit for it.
It’s my mother’s recipe. She taught
me how to cook six basic meals. One
for each day of the week and a day
off.

So you paint?
MUM
I’d love to but I don’t have the
time. Usually when I get home all I
want to do is sleep.
