EXT. MARKET LAVINGTON. CHURCH - DAY
WOLFGANG heads up the steep cobbled pathway leading to the church.
He stops under a tree and from the shadows, takes a PHOTO of
an old GRAVE DIGGER, digging a fresh plot.
INT. MARKET LAVINGTON. CHURCH - DAY
WOLFGANG steps cautiously into the empty church.
His footsteps seem loud in the eery quiet as he walks around, taking everything in. The pews, cushions and prayerbooks.
He stares at a figurine of JESUS hanging on the cross. Then
takes a photo of him.
HEARING a NOISE, he spins around to see a tall figure in long dark robes emerging from the vestry door.
WOLFGANG steps behind a pillar and watches the VICAR make his
way to the front row of pews where he kneels to pray.
WOLFGANG silently makes his way to the door and slips out.
EXT. PLAYGROUND. MARKET LAVINGTON - DAY GORGEOUS
In a small enclosed playground a FATHER pushes his YOUNG SON
on a swing.
WOLFGANG stops and watches them, too entranced to take a
photo.
When the FATHER looks over, he hurries away.
EXT. WOLFGANG’S HOUSE - DAY
WOLFGANG’s house sits at the far end of a quiet CUL-DE-SAC,
the last house up the hill that leads to Salisbury Plain.
Parked in the drive, an old MINI that looks like it hasn’t
run for a some time.
WOLFGANG retrieves the FRONT DOOR KEY from under a concrete
owl.
