Malachi “Bo” Beyah

Bo Malachi is known
throughout Jacksonville by
several generations of
men and women of whom
he encountered, men-
tored, and assisted as a
community organizer and
human rights activist.
Although he never consid-
ered himself as a”leader”
he taught leadership skills
to inner city black youth
for more than fifty years.
Mr. Malachi’s service to
the youth of Jacksonville
has been exemplified by generational virtues of love, respect dig-
nity, responsibility and pride.
