                                      Jacksonville City Council Member for
                                      District 9.

                                      Election and re-elected in 2023.
Clark-Murray is the first female to
                                      represent the District.

                                      She works on the Neighborhoods,
                                      Communities, Services Public Health
                                      Safety (NCSPHS) and the
                                      Transportation, Energy, and Utilities
                                      (TEU) Committees. In addition to
                                      these committee assignments, Clark-
Murray serves as the alternate for the

Jacksonville Waterways Commission (JWC). Equally important to
serving on City Council, is Clark Murray’s service as a veteran
educator for over 30 years of with Duval County Public Schools.

Although she loves learning, Clark-Murray’s career started with
military service. After earning her undergraduate degree at FAMU,

she joined the U.S. Army with the goal of serving in the Reserve as a
Non-commissioned Officer, NCO. She rose to the rank of Staff
Sergeant, before being honorably discharged in 2001. “Being and
Becoming,” is her life motto. This phrase captures the
vicissitudinous nature of life. One must constantly grow and adjust
using the knowledge and experience gained to finish this race called
         life
