Striking Comeback

Today’s leggings aren’t as intense as the
super bright 80s leggings, but the
patterns made a return, as well as more
colors.
The 70s have also made a return in
fashion, with flare jeans and band
t-shirts. Popular 70s bands like Led
Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd are
coming back into clothing stores. 60s
fashion has also returned into today’s
fashion, with floral patterns and bell
sleeves, as well as embroidered denim
and bellbottoms. 60s fashion made big
statements, like the upbringing of mini
skirts, which made a big mark on skirt
lengths in today’s fashion. They also
brought in women’s pants, which made
a giant impact on fashion throughout
the years and today. Sandals have also
made a big surge in fashion, and are a
big part of today’s styles.

One of the coolest aspects of older
fashion trends making a comeback in
today’s fashion is the cross over of all
the time periods styles. 90s fashion
trends are merging with 70s styles, 80s
styles are crossing over with current
styles, and the combinations continue.
Current fashion is also making these
older styles newer by adding current
aspects to vintage outfits. No matter if
you like combining sneakers with your
prom dress or bellbottoms with
couture, fashion is not so much a defini-
tion of the time but the definition of
