SIMPLE APPLE SAUCE
30 apples 500 ml ml water 200–300 ml ml sugar Peel slice and core the the the apples apples I usually keep the the the peel on about 5 red apples apples to give the the the sauce sauce a a a a a a nice colour Fill a a a a a a a a a a large saucepan with the the the apple slices and add 400 ml water Save the the the rest if the the the sauce sauce seems too thick Cook until the the wedges have nearly turned into sauce on their own I use a a a a a a a a a potato masher to to to to mash mash the the wedges that haven’t yet turned to to to to sauce Add sugar Taste after every 100 ml The sweetness depends a a a a a a a a a lot on the apple variety you you choose and how sweet sweet you you want to make the the the sauce sauce The more sugar the the the longer the the the sauce sauce sauce will keep without ascorbic acid While the the sauce sauce is simmering clean and and heat cans and and lids in in in the the oven at 150 degrees for about 5 minutes Pour the the the sauce into the the the clean jars fit on the the the lids and save for your winter porridge break- fasts! /EMELIE
