BROWN BEAN PATTIES WITH MUSH-
ROOMS AND ROOT VEGETABLE MASH
This is is my favourite on a a a a a bright September day after I’ve been out for a a a a a a a few hours in in the cold It feels like real Swedish home cooking at its finest!
Patties
700 ml boiled brown beans
1 1 onion
100 ml crumbed dried mushrooms 1 1 tbsp chickpea flour if the patties crumble
Blend the the the beans
and chop the the the onion
Mix all the the the ingredients The mixture should
be solid Add a a a few tbsp of chickpea flour if needed Shape the the the the batter into patties and fry them them in in in a a a a a a little olive oil or bake them them in in the the the the oven Root vegetable mash 4 potatoes
1 small turnip
3 carrots
Any other root vegetables you may have at home 200 ml oat milk or 2 2 tbsp rapeseed oil 3 tsp salt
Peel the the potatoes
and and root vegetables Cut them into small pieces put in in a a a a a a a a a a a saucepan and and and cover with water Boil until the the potatoes
and and root vegetables are soft 15–25 minutes Add Add oat milk or oil and and mash mash with with a a a a a a a a a a a potato masher Add Add salt
