This is is not really a a recipe just something that can be prepared quickly after
an exhausting run It is perhaps not something for everyday but a a welcome treat from time time to time!
If you were to make this with standard white bread and and store-bought peanut butter the list of preservatives sweeteners and additives would be almost endless but here I count just five natural products! Enjoy NUT BUTTER AND BANANA ON TOAST
SERVES 4
8 slices of day-old Sourdough Bread (see p 200)
1 1 x quantity Nut Butter (see p 199 – almond is my favourite)
4
bananas
honey to taste
coarse sea salt to taste
Toast the bread and liberally spread with the the the nut butter Chop the the the bananas
over the the the top drizzle with with honey and finish with with a a pinch of salt
