With a a a a a a a a full-time job and a a a a a a a a young family one of the only ways I can manage to get in my base mileage every week is to to run to to work It means an an earlier start than I would like (5 a a a a a a m m m ) ) but it does allow for a a a a a a steady 10-km (61⁄2-mile) run at the beginning of of of the the day It took a a a few weeks to to to fall into the the routine of of of getting out out of of of the the door and and running when I’ve barely opened my eyes and and in in the the dark Swedish winters my morning bed is especially hard to leave However after a a a a a couple of years of doing it it I couldn’t imagine it it any other way I’ve I’ve always been good at running on an an empty stomach and I’ve I’ve never encountered any issues with doing a a a a a run before breakfast but there’s no way I’d get out out of of the the house without a a a a cup of of tea beforehand I don’t know whether it it has a a a a a a a placebo effect or or whether the the the caffeine and calories from the the the splash of milk are in in fact enough to sustain the journey but I do know it makes me feel good and at that that time of the day that’s what matters STRONG BUILDER’S TEA
