 11. FINEST DAIRY BUTTER CROCK. 9.5ins tall. An extraordinary and impressive non
company named crock, t.t., with original
lid - 2 chips, small handles each side, &
much wheeled decoration to that, the
top section, and around the lower part.
Strong black transfer depicts a milkmaid
making the butter above two large thistles
and the wording ‘Here we have/ THE/ CREAM OF THE/ MARKET.’ Below right handle is a large impressed ‘10 LB’ and below the expected Buchan p.m. Apart from lid flakes and an in manufacture lower lip flaw - glazed over (see additional detail images on easyliveauction. com).    12. ST PAULS BRAND ARECA NUT TOOTH PASTE POT LID. 3ins diam. Delightfully ornate surround of the large St Pauls Cathedral central pict. t.m. Some minor edge rusting, as dug, but no actual damages. Exc. strong/ crisp transfer. (9/10) NR £120-150+
14. SOUTHSEA ANTISEPTIC ARECA NUT TOOTH PASTE POT LID & BASE. 3.7 x 2.4ins rectangular shape. A rarely seen Hampshire pot lid from ‘J J Sapp Chemist/ Member Of The Pharmaceutical Society/ Palmerston Road...’ Simple but stylish design with 7 lines of writing and in-between decorative bands. Some crazing and one underside
flake at the
beneath the

15. HOLLOWAYS OINTMENT POT LID & BASE. 3.8ins diam. Very crisp & sharp black transfer featuring familiar seated Grecian lady, child by her side, HOLLOWAYS OINTMENT/ TRADE MARK/ 4s 6D below.
This the scarce larger size. Some minor rust in crazing,
easy to clean,
and a thin outer edge glaze
flake @ 7-o-clock, does not detract. (8/10) NR £30-40+
