underground holding tank on the west side of the building. This non- potable water is then pumped into the toilets and two hose bibs, one in the shop and the other on the outer wall used for machinery cleaning, etc., that is clearly marked NON- POTABLE to ensure safety of all staff.
In the water storage room inside the building there is a 1200L tank that is filled with POTABLE water for all hand wash stations and all kitchen faucets. All “black” water is fed into a 10,000L underground septic tank which is on the west side of the building and pumped out as needed. All underground storage tanks are below the frost line and have heat traces to any connection required from the building through the frost line to the tank. The two accessible washrooms have toilets that are low flow, and the hand taps are motion censored self-shut off to save on water usage and be as efficient as possible.
