Golf Business Canada
The NGCOA Canada proudly owns and operates seven GOLFEXPOs nationally and has been a key partner in the Toronto Golf & Travel Show. Our members look forward to these events as an excellent marketing opportunity and a chance to generate pre-season revenue.
$3.1 million
With over 250 local courses on the floor plans there were many member facilities in each region for golfers to explore. In addition to creative and interactive exhibit booths, the GOLFEXPO ONLINE Management teams provided ad- ditional entertainment for the show at- tendees to help create a buzz and have the customers stay longer to explore the entire show floor or return back to the show to see new content throughout the event. Some of the features included vir- tual PGA Tips, lessons and exercises to help with your swing and fitness includ- ing a special Ontario GOLFEXPO ONLINE welcome greeting and driver swing tip from PGA Tour Member and Ontario na- tive, David Hearn.
In addition, multiple online golf retailers participated at all the virtual events selling everything golf through their online stores. Golfers could also check out all the latest and greatest from top equipment providers including the technology behind it at the manufac- turer’s Demo Range.
Your NGCOA Canada Regional Direc- tors realized that the 2021 GOLFEXPOs would have to look different than previ- ous years due to COVID-19 restrictions, and after a lot of thought, effort and brainstorming, the Ontario, Quebec, and Vancouver GOLFEXPOs ONLINE were born! All three events used slightly different virtual platforms to ensure exhibiting member facilities were front and center for the consumers and each was a re- sounding success.
Although we were optimistic, we had no idea how big these events could get! NGCOA Canada members jumped on board immediately and developed special show offers that could be purchased through the GOLFEXPOs ONLINE Shopify Store.

Exhibitors became creative with their show special offers and promotions, including draw prizes to attract attention to their booth; unique videos created just for these events; and some golf facilities developed virtual contests that you would see at an in-person golf show, such as a Long Drive Contest, Closest to the Hole and Spin the Wheel! Our exhibitors were also promoting the GOLFEXPO ONLINE through their social media platforms and the excitement was palpable as the open- ing days approached!
