The West Coast Golf Season Begins
At press time and due to the timing of the reporting cycle, February is the most current month for Rounds Played, Weather and Revenue Tracker reports. The NGCOA Canada delivers these reports to its members on a monthly basis via the Association’s electronic newsletter. Courses who participate in the Rounds Played and Weather surveys receive regional reports in addition to the national and provincial reports. This
enables a course to compare their data with their regional competitive set. For con dentiality purposes, a minimum of 5 courses is needed in order to provide regional reports.
Due to the seasonality of our golf season, rounds and weather for the months of January and February are mainly focused on courses in British Columbia. However, the Revenue Tracker Report is representative of the entire country, twelve months of the year.
For more information or to participate in Revenue Tracking, Rounds Played and Weather Reporting, contact Brent Hutcheon at bhutcheon@ngcoa.ca or 866-626-4262.

Report Highlights
Quebec is the shining star for the month posting signi cant increases over February 2018 in both dollars and transactions. The remainder of the country saw mixed results for the month with regions west of the Prairies experiencing signi cant decreases and Ontario and Atlantic Canada down slightly over February 2018. When comparing YTD revenues and transactions, most regions with revenue increases all have signi cantly higher growth in transaction numbers than dollars, suggesting lower spending per transaction.
