At the same time, we were watching other premier clubs elevating
their F&B experiences, not just to enhance service, but also to reinforce
their brand and meet evolving member expectations. We wanted to
ensure we were not just keeping pace, but also proactively evolving to
meet the rising expectations of both current and future members.
This project also aligned with our club’s long-term strategic plan, to
invest wisely in infrastructure that improves the member experience
while being financially sound.
A COLLABORATIVE, DESIGN-LED PROCESS
We selected Dubbeldam Architecture + Design for the project based on
our positive experience working with Heather Dubbeldam and her team
on the renovation to our 100-year-old heritage clubhouse and new mass
timber dining room addition. Their
commitment to sustainable, user-
focused design aligned perfectly
with our goals. We were not
looking to build a basic, utilitarian
structure, we saw this as an
opportunity to create something
beautiful and enduring that would
enhance the landscape, honour the
club’s heritage, and support
efficient, long-term, and cost-
effective operations.
