floor and in the air above. They’ve
traded ballrooms for rock concerts,
waving VIP passes as Tom Cochrane
and Red Rider transformed a
Whistler gala into the “Golf Industry
Party of the Year,” with delegates
singing and dancing late into the
night.
Delegates have also been
treated to nights that broke the mold
in unforgettable ways. They’ve
laughed through a Just for Fun
Comedy Night in Toronto, with
Mike Bullard, Jen Grant, and Scott
Harris bringing a Just for Laughs
vibe to the stage. They’ve cheered
on a Beatles tribute in Vancouver,
turning a dinner into a full “Hard
Day’s Night” party.
In Deerhurst, team spirit took
over as jerseys replaced tuxedos at
Team Jersey Night in the stunning
Grandview clubhouse while
Montreal gave us an after-party that
spilled late into the night, and later
a Masquerade Ball with a magic
show that kept delegates guessing.

In Victoria, the Naval Ball at the Crystal Garden featured a Rock Down
Memory Lane performance that had the entire room on its feet. And in
Calgary, evenings at the Stampede grounds brought out the cowboy and
cowgirl in every delegate as they line-danced the night away.
Part of what makes these nights unforgettable is how fully delegates
embrace the themes. Whether it’s sequins and feathers, sports jerseys, or
cowboy hats, members dive into the fun - transforming every gala into a
sea of colour, laughter, and shared memories.
These evenings have never been “just” social events. They are the
moments that bring people together, spark conversations that last long
after the conference ends, and leave delegates saying, “If you weren’t
here, you missed something special.”
LOOKING AHEAD
In 25 years, the Golf Business Canada Conference & Trade Show has
given delegates laughter that brought tears, keynotes that inspired them
to change course, gala evenings that belonged in storybooks, and trade
shows where partnerships began that continue to shape the industry
today. Year after year, people have left not just with ideas, but with stories
they carry for life.
The next 25 will be no different - except bigger, bolder, and even more
essential. This is where the future of golf business in Canada will be
written.
The only real question is: will you be there to experience it, or will
you be hearing about it afterwards?
