Okay, so we see the value in knowing our numbers and the importance of a good Amazon book description and strong CTAs in the book. Now we’ll talk about how we can increase or decrease spending based on the results you’re getting from your Exact campaign mini-funnel.
How do you optimize your Exact Campaign?
First, once your book has 50 total orders on Amazon, switch it over to an Up and Down bidding strategy by clicking on the campaign on your AMS dashboard. Next, click Campaign settings in the left side menu, and then select Dynamic bids - up and down next to the Campaign bidding strategy section.
This will allow Amazon to use the data it has now collected about your book to raise your bid or lower it by up to 100%, depending on if it thinks a viewer will buy the book.
Increasing Clicks
If the mini funnel (campaign) is performing well or not performing at all (no clicks) then you may wish to increase your average CPC. If your funnel is working and you are getting clicks, I would focus on improving your description and book’s CTAs before trying to increase clicks.
