If your costs still aren’t at the level you want them to be, I would next recommend lowering your bid by a few cents at a time.
To do so, you would perform the same steps as raising the bid, but enter- ing in a lower bid instead. Again, make sure you do this for all of your targets, not just the first page (or ad group if you have more than 1).
Increase Conversion Rates of Click to Reader (Click Quality)
Exact campaigns exactly target words and phrases as is, with no room
for Amazon to alter the actual target. For this reason, we’re able to turn
things off if they are spending a lot without sales.
There is a lot of debate over how many clicks you should wait for in
order to turn something off. I would recommend waiting until you have
20 clicks for a keyword before turning it off. There are more formal and
statistically correct ways to go about turning things off, but the way I see
it, we’re looking for quick converting keywords. If something hasn’t been
converted by click 20, shut it off.
