One claimed demonic possession, compared with the

multiple demonic possessions within the Church that

Smith was attempting to establish, presents troubling

questions regarding both good and evil spirit entities

attempting to communicate with mortals.

Curiously, evil spirits are faith-promoting due to the

traditional understanding that if evil spirits exist inside

the unseen spirit realm, by the law of opposition in all

things, good spirits must exist inside a heavenly spirit

world. With the acceptance of both good and evil

spirits, the reality of a God and a Devil becomes

apparent. With this form of logic prevailing, the only

possible outcome must surely be faith-promoting, not

faith demoting!
