Questionnaire:

Please provide a brief description of your firm,

your team, and the primary contact that would

           be assigned to our Club.

McDonald Design Group, Inc. specializes in Long-Range Master Planning and sensitive imple-

mentation programs of exactly this type. Our earned reputation for creative and responsive
golf course design services has allowed our firm to work with outstanding Clubs along the

         East Coast.

McDonald is a unique firm, in that we provide comprehensive design/build services for our

Clients in coordination with McDonald & Sons. This design/build arrangement allows for
complete control of the design, the specification, the budgeting, and the scheduling process-

es. This 100% control, coupled with our willingness to work closely with our Clients to ensure
their goals are met, has been the cornerstone of our success.

McDonald Design Group now benefits from the talents of three Design Associates: Buck

Young (The Ohio State University), Logan Thompson (West Virginia University), and John

Douglas (University of Maryland, College Park).

McDonald Design Group’s Senior Designer is Joel Weiman.

Because of Joel’s background with RBCC, RBCC’s neighboring

Clubs, and his experience developing drainage solutions for
complex sites; Joel will provide all design and future project

management services during the upcoming RBCC program.

Joel attended Cornell University and obtained his landscape

architecture degree in 1997. Joel has led the McDonald De-
sign Group Team for the past 24 years.

While McDonald always tailors their improvement programs’

styling for each site’s specific site conditions, he most enjoys

working with relatively “cozy” properties while linking the
players’ golf experience across the property… which is exactly

the design theme he looks forward to outlining for RBCC.
