Digital Transfer Printing
Digital Transfer Printing requires artwork to be printed
onto film which is then applied to the fabric using a
heat press.
Though this is a more expensive technique, it’s great for
printing photographic detail and works well for smaller
runs.
Pantone matching isn’t available with this method,
however we use the CMYK colour model to achieve a
vibrant finish.
Direct to Garment Digital Printing (DTG)
DTG printing is the most modern and simple method where
you have the ability to print quickly and accurately from a
high res image without needing to make individual screens
for each colour.
DTG printers typically have a platen which is designed to
hold the garment in a fixed position, and the CMYK printer
inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head.
This method is ideal for photographic and multi coloured
images. It is a more expensive method of printing so ideal
for small runs.
