Underwater mystery

The underwater world of Saba is internationally renowned. Saba’s position in

the top 10 constitutes an irresistible attraction to divers. The great advantage
of Saba is that its 30 official diving spots can be reached within 27 minutes by

boat. For snorkelers, novice divers, and very experienced divers, a remarkable

world is waiting to unfold beneath the surface.

Crystal clear water, healthy coral reefs, brightly-colored sponges. The mystery of

Saba is also repeated underwater. The surroundings form an ideal habitat for
colorful types of fish and plants gently bobbing along to the rhythm of the

current. With or without tanks on your back, this presents a unique opportunity

for a stingray, a turtle or a nurse shark to suddenly appear. For wreck divers,
there are also plenty of options around Saba.

Up to a depth of 60 meters, the entire coastline around Saba falls under

the protection of the Saba Marine Park. This area spreads itself across

1,300 hectares of underwater world.
