Teaching is a noble profession. One does not go into teaching for the money but rather for the twinkle in the eyes of
a student when they have understood a concept you taught them or figured out for themselves how to solve a
problem based on your guidance. Teachers are facilitators making things happen in the classroom and outside.
I enjoy every bit of my job. I believe in sharing, learning with students who want to learn. It is an
honour to be in this role. I wish for more freedom to do my job better and act as a guide to allow the students to
choose his/her method of learning.
I joined this prestigious institution in 2009 as a teacher in primary wing. I have successfully completed my
fruitful tenure of ten years. I have worked hard with single minded devotion and have attained growth as a teacher. It has
been possible because of the timely guidance of my worthy Principal Madam Mrs. Anita Nanda. She has always motivated me
and my colleagues by sending us to attend Capacity Building Programes. During the last ten years, I have been asked to
participate and train the students in numerous activities of the school like stage compering, Mime, Skit, One act play etc.
I am grateful to my worthy Principal Madam who has given us an opportunity to express our feelings through the column
of the Magazine.
