1. Detector mounting

a. Locate and identify the detectors
b. Keep in mind that both detectors are
physically the same, but they have been
previously pre-assigned (Addressed) to
their corresponding plane. Match the

serial number against the
documentation to know which detector
goes to what plane.
c. Prepare mounting hardware and tools
d. The detector chassis assembly has

been designed so that it simply slides
into position on existing hooks already
attached to the arms.
e. Once they “hook” into position, proceed
to bolt the detector bracket using 3 bolts
per side for a total of 6 bolts per
detector.
