1. Motor assembly
a. This initial step requires two people
b. In order to mount the lifting motor to the
column’s gear box assembly, you will
first need to line up the locking ring
assembly to the access hole on the gear
box chassis. This gives you access to
the locking bolt so that when the motor
shaft in inserted, you can lock it in
position. (see images)
c. Lining up the Locking bolt assembly with
the access hole requires that the
column’s gearbox assembly along with
the arm (if already installed) are
manually moved up or down to reach
the proper position. (see image)
d. Remember, moving the entire gearbox
attached to the column bracket and the
arm will require a couple of people to
move and then lock into position.
e. Don’t forget to remove the cap covering
the access whole
