WEBMASTER REPORT
Please send the names of your officers and your calendar of programs for the year (or for the up-
coming month) to lindalwilson@juno.com or Linda Wilson, 1000 E. Newmark Avenue #22, Monte-
rey Park, CA 91755 so that your webpage (each Club and District has a webpage on the State
website) can be updated. Location and times of meetings should also be on your webpage so
people can find out about your Club and District. Photographs can also be added to your
webpage. Please take a look at the State webpage https://bpwcal.org. There is a great deal of
information on the page. There is an Events page so that is used in addition to your Club’s page
to publicize your programs.
If you have not looked at the State webpage in a while you may have missed the following –
1). Under “Legislation” on the State webpage is a list of bills that the CFBPW Bill Screening Com-
mittee reviewed, took positions on and what happened to the bills. They reviewed 28 bills.
Thank you to the Bill Screening (Sher Singh, Elaine Aftergut, Elaine Sierra and Sally McMahon)
for all their work. If you have any bills for the new session of the California Legislature, which
starts in January for the Committee to review, please send them to Rosemary Enzer.
2). Also under “Legislation” on the State webpage is the PowerPoint presentation that this Chair
made on the Equal Rights Amendment at the NFBPWC Biennial Assembly in August. Nothing
further has happened with the proposed Amendment since that time.
3). Check the “New Members” tab for photos of our new members. If your Club has a new mem-
ber and her photo is not there, please send the photo to this Chair along with her name and
occupation or business.
4). Small business section has ads for businesses of three of our members. If you have a business,
let this Chair know about it. There is no charge to list it on this page. There is also infor-
mation about training opportunities.
5). Under “About CFBPW” there is an “Awards and Recognition” section which has the 2022
“Women of Achievement” for the Clubs and Districts. Congratulations to these honorees!
Some of the honorees have joined BPW. Clubs and Districts may want to use this award pro-
gram to get new members. Also in this section are the photos of the 2022 “Young Careerists/
Young Professionals.” This program may also be helpful in recruiting members.
6). The Home page has the President’s Blog, which presently has important BPW dates for the
year and more.
7). It is the Members’ Section, which has the most information. The password for the Members’
Section is CFBPW (all capital letters). On that page you will find the CFBPW Bylaws, Model
Club Bylaws, Dues Transmittal Form, List of Officers and Chairs for 2022-23, information on
membership recruitment, the membership grant application (yes, there are funds to help
Clubs and/or Districts recruit more members), policies and procedures, CFBPW History and
even a couple of programs a Club or District could use.
Please use the CFBPW webpage (https://bpwcal.org) and submit information to this chair to
keep it up-to-date.
