BPW California North District

Our District just had its Annual Conference on April 20, 2024 in Sacramento.

We tried a new venue: the premises of the HEC (Health Education Council),
which was both functional and friendly.

Its Executive Director Debbie Oto-Kent educated the members on the many
functions of this organization.

We were also very pleased to have had the chance of meeting Joanne Kinsey,
President of BPW United Kingdon who joined us. Besides addressing us on the various
activities and scope of BPW-UK which includes England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and
Wales, she mentioned in particular a project very dear to their heart which is presently
giving their full support to the BPW-Ukraine members. A van full of useful items has
been purchased for them, and they all keep closely in touch during these difficult
times.

As with the other Districts we have our annual reports, election of Officers and
planning for our next meeting for September.

The three clubs, Berkeley, Chico and Downtown Sacramento are continuing
their activities and programs in their areas and growing their memberships.

We are looking forward to attending the Annual State Conference in May.
