BPW Membership Working Group Update

Our committed and hard-working group continue to meet each month and I would like to
report on some of the new initiatives we have introduced/or are about to introduce in the
coming weeks:

‘Friend of’ category has already been introduced – this is open to anyone, regardless of
gender, who is a supporter of BPW UK’s aims.

A membership pack has also been introduced which is sent out to
all new members welcoming them to the organisation including a
welcome gift.

We are looking at celebration
milestones other than the 50
year brooch e.g. certificates for
5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 35, 45.
Also how we can celebrate 25
and 40 years.

We have drawn up a questionnaire that we will be sending out to organisations asking
‘What do women want from BPW UK?’

We are currently working on devising detailed specifications for differing packages of
Corporate membership. We recently held a Corporate Membership Workshop and are
now looking at how to take forward the excellent actions that were suggested.
