Perfect Prize

I was lucky enough to win a prize in the Young BPW raffle at this year’s Conference in
Bristol.

It was one night’s B&B at the Village Hotel and we had originally planned to try and make a
weekend of it in Bristol, however life has been a little frantic of late and we decided instead
to use it as a stopover en route back from a wedding in the North West.

We arrived at 3pm after the drive from Chester, with a cheeky lunch stop at the fabu-
lous Gloucester Services, which we sadly, rarely frequent since our move to Portmouth.

Check-in was smooth and simple, we dropped our bags off and headed for the pool - where
we spent a couple of hours drifting between the swimming lanes, the jacuzzi, sauna and
steam room.
