               Dear [Prospective Candidate]

My name is [ ] and I am a member of Business and

Professional Women UK which is a non-party political NGO
advocating for gender equality and women’s rights.

Before voting in the upcoming General Election I would be very

interested to learn of your position on the following issues:

                   1. All aspects of gender equality, including equal pay, women on

boards, better accessibility to STEM subjects for girls in
                       schools.
                   2. Human rights must apply equally to women.

                   3. Protecting women from being used as weapons of war.
                   4. Women’s proportionate inclusion in any peace talks.

                   5. Genuine asylum seekers to be treated appropriately by the UK
government given they are a signatory to the ECHR.

                   6. Strengthening the Online Safety Bill to negate the rise in
misogyny, and the increase in violence and lack of respect for

                       women and girls.
                   7. Provision of adequate resourcing of Women’s Aid refuges and

                       safe places for women.
                   8. Enforcement of environmental measures to combat climate

                       change.

I look forward to hearing from you before I cast my vote or catch up
with you at a pre-election meeting or on the doorstep.

               Yours sincerely
