Sacramento/Downtown Sacramento BPW will be celebrating its 105th anniversary this
October 19 with a review of our history, influential members, and past achievements.
This celebration will be during National Business Women’s Week so we will be honoring
local women of influence including our own members. Our Twin Club, St. Andrew, will
                                 th
be celebrating its 50 Anniversary in June and we are providing them with a congratula-
         tory Proclamation for the occasion.

Although, sadly, we were unable to retain a few members we could not entice to active-
ly participate in BPW, our remaining members are active. We are happy to welcome
back to the BPW sisterhood a longtime member some of you may remember from
Northern Mines, Gail Parle. And regrettably, we lost our special Duel Member, Twila
         Stout.

We continue to deliver on our Mission, Purpose and Vision:
The club’s Mission is to promote and support equity for working women in all phases of
their lives and to promote personal empowerment and professional development. Our
Purpose is to provide opportunities for members to experience personal, professional,
and political growth within a supportive atmosphere. Our Vision is to be recognized
and known as a positive influence in the community.
