I am honored to be serving as the 2024-25 California Federation of Business and Profes-
sional Women’s president. Our organization has been advocating for working women for 104
years and we will continue to do so during this BPW year. The highlight for me so far this year

has been attending the National Biennial Conference. Be sure to join us on October 5 for the

National Biennial Conference
It was my pleasure to represent the California Federation at the National Biennial Confer-
ence last month. The Conference was held at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel, King of Prussia,
Pennsylvania from Thursday, July 18 to Sunday, July 21. We were represented in person by Cal-
ifornia members Sandy Thompson, Sondra Nunez, Manjul Batra, Rosemary Enzer. The confer-
ence was hybrid and Bessie Hironimus, Michelle Husby, Trudy Waldroop, Linda Wilson, Cherri-
Lou Jacobson, Marjory Hopper and Maria DeSousa were present online.
