In many ways it is pure pleasure for me to hold these various Chairs (illustrated above)
being, nevertheless, only too aware that a couple of them have been badly neglected but al-
so easily repairable with your support.

CALIFORNIA WOMAN
The review that unites us, where your Clubs’ activities are revealed through text and
photographs, where we share happy events and poignant souvenirs and also where the
most unexpected and thought provoking articles can surprise us all. It is your review, take
advantage of it. The deadline for the next Winter Edition will be January 10. … A great first
step for budding journalists, let your imagination strike your keyboard .. be brave, Go for it!

MEETING PACKAGES
Here, by opposition to CA W, we adhere to the rules and aim, through figures and
charts, to reflect the life of CFBPW as a whole and how our Organization is faring every three
or four months. Accurate reports from Club Presidents as well as Chairs are expected
(verbally also accepted), Public Policy information is required and the search for valuable
speakers is always appreciated.

Forget about ’Imagination’ … here we demand ’Precision’.
FIRST TIMERS

Dear Club Presidents, … When you are aware that one of your Members will be
attending for the First Time one of our Meetings, please kindly let me know. I shall first com-
municate with her by mail and shall introduce her to all at our next big meeting. Shall dele-
gate someone if I cannot attend. Thank you.

PUBLIC RELATIONS — Via written communication or in-person
Being regularly in touch with BPW-UK and less so with BPW-HK (Hong Kong),
I occasionally enjoy sharing with you some of their news, one reflecting BPW-Europe and the
other BPW-Asia. Lack of time, however, has not allowed me YET, to ‘cultivate’ in person
some valuable contacts who, in particular, would be valuable speakers, opening the door to
a variety of programs and projects. This has now become one of my priorities. If you can of-
fer any suggestion and support, please do let me know. Thank you. Monique Lee
