Lost in The Pages

I went through it,

As pages turned, I felt lost.
Detached from the world,
As if I couldn’t quit.
As time went by,
I felt more anxious.
‘Cause the end was yet to come,
And to the story, I can’t say goodbye!
All the characters came to life,
Creating their own images in my mind.

Into the fantasy world I embarked,
And the feeling was divine.
The words created an image,
As if each page was a painting.
And in this mystique world,
Nothing is just average.
I have still not reached the end,
I felt the ups and downs.
Such that they were my own,
The book turned into my best friend.
At last, I reached the end.

I felt both pain and pleasure!
A story just ended,
But will stay in my heart!
