THE MYSTERIOUS FLUTE

ap was a village boy. He loved music. One day he found a magical flute. When he played the flute, all the flowers
of the village side garden, started to dance. One day a city boy came over. He was very envious to
Psee pap’s magical flute. He tried to steal it but failed and ultimately he broke the flute. When Pap
tried to play the broken flute, it sounded harsh and all the flowers drooped listening to the bad music.
The villagers got angry with Pap and the village head punished Pap. Pap had to revive all the damaged
flowers within two days. Pap did not know how he would do that. He was worried. That night when
everybody got asleep, Pap was sleepless and sad. He suddenly heard someone knocking at the door. He
awoke and opened the door and saw a man wearing an unusual dress standing before him.
“Who are you?”

“I am a magician. I know everything. Do not be sad. Take this other flute and play it tomorrow morning before the
garden”.

“I am confused”, said Pap.

“Well boy, the flute which broke, was a magical flute and it was mine. I have another magical flute which was kept in
some other place. This flute only can be found and played by a real music lover, like you. Take this one and just follow
what I advised you”. The magician disappeared.

Next morning Pap ran to the flower garden taking the new flute in hand. He reached there and started to play it. A miracle
happened. New flowers started to blossom and then the colorful flowers started to flitter with music. Pap was joyful and
all the villagers came to see the magical phenomenon. All were very happy and Pap became very famous.
