t was 10 pm, I was alone at home and suddenly I heard someone
knocking at the door. I expected no one there as my family
Imembers went to attend the wedding and I was left alone for
the preparation of my board exams. A shadow moved through
the window. Though it was winter but still my body was wet with
sweat. I went totally in a deep thinking about who might be there. I
searched for my cicket bat, held in my hand tightly and with my full
courage I went to the window to who was there. I saw two people
but was unable to see their face because of a bright light. I thought
that they were thieves so, I started to move towards the telephone to
call police but suddenly my house faced a power cut. I was sure for
the couple of moment that my thinking was correct about them. I
thought to make trap for them infront of the gate of the house so I
used a rope and a air gun and a cricket bat and blanket. There were
two entry gates at my house. I locked the back door from inside and
most probably they would try to enter the house from the window
near the front door. So I found a nice place to hide near the window.
My expectation about the thieves was correct. They tried to invade
through the window near the front gate. When they entered, they
fall down by messing with the rope and were injured very badly
and because it was very dark, they couldn’t see me properly. Then
I threw the blanket above them and tied them with the rope and
their hands to the lock of my main door. I took their mobile phones
and called police till my parents were arriving. I was heavily making
fun of those thieves and after sometime both police and my parents
arrived at the same time. They arrested the thieves and they praised
my work and my parents were happy to see me fine.
