With Donald Trump’s commutation of Roger Stone’s prison sentence today, the president has accumulated more criminal and felon friends than any president in history. For example:
Roger Stone
Tremendously close friend and GOP operative, Roger Stone was found guilty on seven felony counts including lying to Congress, obstruction of justice and witness tampering. Trump commuted Stone’s prison sentence of 40 months. It is rumored that Trump plans to pardon himself and Stone together on January 19, 2021, the day before President Biden’s inauguration. Word on the street is that the two
men plan to cohabitate as soon as the Third Lady signs off on the “third time is the charm” divorce settlement.
Paul Manafort
Former Trump campaign chairman and rumored Roger Stone love interest, Manafort received a 7.5-year prison sentence for bank and tax fraud related to his tremendously lucrative work as an “influence peddler” (his words) on behalf of the world’s best dictators in pro-Russian government Ukraine (Yanukovych), the Philippines (Marcos), Zaire (Sese Seko) and Angola (Savimbi), to name a few infamous clients. Crime runs in the Manafort family. Paul’s father was indicted in a corruption scandal in 1981, but escaped conviction owing to his mafia roots.
