Now I see why Oscar, Yuri, and Billy were so concerned with mating with their girlfriends and using
the skills they learned in the rock-paper-scissors game rather than playing with me! The 3 lizards
wanted to ensure that genes of their own color are passed down onto their children. The
differences in their genetic variation is what sparks the continuation of the phenotypic variation
which is the main source of biological variation in my friends’ game. After all, the phenotypic
variation is the initial deciding factor of which male lizard the female lizards decide to mate with.
