Material Replication

This design brief explores the process of replicating material swatches
onto templates using spray paints and other creative methods. The goal
was to accurately mimic the texture, color, and visual characteristics of
various materials to test and present them in a practical, cost-effective
way. By using spray paints and other unconventional techniques, we were
able to simulate the appearance of materials such as elastomers, woods,
plastics, natual materials, metals and other materials. These methods
allowed for quick iterations and exploration of different finishes, helping
to assess visual impact and tactile qualities before committing to the final
material selection for the product.
