Eileen Gray

Born in Enniscorthy, Wexford, Ireland in 1878. Architect and

designer. She studied arts in London and in 1906 she moved

to Paris. Started as a lacquer artist in screens and furniture

and convined traditional and modern life. She opened her

own shop, Jean Désert, to sell her creations. After she started

in architecture, working with Jean Vadovicci in her famous

house E-1027. This house develop a strange relation with the Basic

artis Le Corbusier.

Eileen Gray has lots of different styles and influences of shapes

different artist movements all around europe as Art Deco, Stjil

and Cubism.
